How Do I Get the Rear-Entertainment System in the 2019 MDX?
Question: How Do I Get the Rear-Entertainment System in the 2019 MDX?
In order to get a rear-entertainment system equipped in a 2019 Acura MDX, you must upgrade to the Entertainment Package. There are two options of doing this that offer different entertainment systems.
When you upgrade to the Technology Package in your new MDX, you’re able to add the Single-Screen Rear Entertainment System.
This system features a 9-inch VGA screen that drops when in use. It comes installed with a DVD player, has a dedicated wireless remote, and adds an extra 11th speaker to the vehicle’s sound system.
You receive two pairs of surround sound wireless headphones, so rear passengers can enjoy their entertainment while the driver and front passenger enjoy their own audio. Passengers even receive rear door sunshades to avoid reflecting light onto the screen, as well as a 110-volt power outlet to power external devices that could hook up to the screen.
Finally, the second row bench seating will feature heated outboard seats for even greater comfort.
If your chosen 2019 MDX comes outfitted with the Advanced Package, your upgrade to the Entertainment Package will include all of the above, as well as the following:
- Upgraded 16.2-inch Ultra-Wide VGA Screen with Split Screen Capability
- 12th Speaker Added to Existing Sound System
- HDMI Compatibility
- Second-Row Bench Seating with Heated Outboard Seats (This will differ from the second-row Captain’s Chairs available with just the Advance Package, taking the seating capability of this equipped MDX to 7 passengers from 6.)
